Outdoor is not just mountaineering, surviving and Everest climbing. Outdoor life is a passion that lives in all of us.

I grew up in a small neighborhood of Silkeborg in Denmark living 200 meters from the greatest forest of Denmark and clean lakes. But my passion for the outdoor life wasn't born just living next to nature. I had to live it myself.

My passion was turned on during my years as skiteacher and avalanche rescuer in Tirol, Austria, where I learned the fundamentals and key elements of weather forecasts in the mountains, technical gear and how to properly behave and act in nature.

After spending time in Austria, my father lured my into hunting. To be honest, hunting was on my to-do list earlier but I failed the test (!).

But this time in 2011, I didn't.

Honestly speaking, I will never be the greatest hunter of all time. My focus is more passionated in the community and the very surroundings of being together in nature, whether it is hunting, fishing, hiking or skiing.

30 years of experience into 4 years of actions
Superstainable was born out of more than 30 years of knowledge within technical outdoor products. My father, my brother and I founded Superstainable on the very foundation of my fathers great experience within certified technical outdoor gear & wear and our mission is to bring that knowledge and experience to you, so that you can get the best products with the highest environmental and social standards for outdoor use. We have come a long way, but we are only just started.
